Timothy Jr. Survives day one

Yesterday it was rainy, cold, and very windy so I was worried that Timothy Jr. wouldn't make it.

But I checked him today after school and he was still standing thankfully. It was nice out today so I took his first pictures. Here they are:

The Birth of Timothy Jr.

Today, April 20th, 2009, is the birth of the last heir to the Round Bush Plant family - Timothy Junior.

He is a spruce tree that my Grandmother gave to me today. She got him at Agway. They were giving them out free to the first hundred people that arrived. He is not very tall and came in a bag full of mud.

I planted him under the shelter of The Bushtree in my backyard. He is very small and scrawny and we are having high winds today so I am concerned if he will make it though these crucial first days. He is neighbored by a fellow spruce, Ronald.

I named him after Timothy, the longest lasting plant I ever grew.....


I rescued the original Timothy back in 2003 from the front of my Grandparents house. His original spot was going to get dug up and replaced with stone so I had to move him. I transplanted him to The Round Bush in my Grandmparents side yard where he helped found the Round Bush Plant Family. The family consisted of : Tom, Tim, Timothy and John. Tom and Tim didn't make it through The Harsh Winter of 2004. Timothy, and John, a tomato plant, were the only survivors. I then decided to transplant the two survivors to my own back yard. John did not survive the transplant and died. Timothy survived and lived a happy life until the summer of 2008, when my Father murdered him in cold blood.
